August 15th-Michael Beans Pirate Show @Bristol Yacht Club: Begins 7ish for dinner. What a PaRRRRty it will be. We will join up for some of the old Caribbean Millen-i-hum Album songs with my steel pan, irish whistle and drum. Seafarin madness thanks to Joe Brito. August 28th- Petersburgh NY Art Council summer concert series: for information call 518 658 3062(Joan Buzerak) Songs from the mountains and sea. My earlier albums from my life living in the mountains will come back to life in their place of birth singing to those who filled my life with amazing times enjoying the breathtaking forests of NY and natural life. Lorraine for finding this URL for me... Yesterday, Bob was opening some
mail from Florida, going through his monthly subscripted magazines and
there lo and behold on the front of the May/June Ocean Navigator was
me.. Billy Black had submitted a photo he had taken of me coming into
Newport harbor last may... Thanks Billy and Happy Birthday!! Check out Ocean Navigator for great sailing articles! I have begun the process to have an article published here...
Your performance on Saturday evening was wonderful.
What a gloriously entertaining evening. I've been following folk music for more
years than I care to admit. I've seen Joan Baez, Judy Collins, Buffy St. Marie,
etc etc. I'm not sure you realize how beautiful a voice you have. Each one of
the women that I mentioned had a message. Buffy's was the Native Americans. For
Joan Baez, of course, it was the Vietnam War and whatever else moved her at the
time. You also have a message and tell it as well as they did. We should do it
again sometime. Keep in touch.
